L'ANSE CREUSE HIGH SCHOOL - NORTH: 58
Big League win for the Saints swimmers. St. Clair beat LCN, a team in the MAC Blue League, at LCN in front of a small crowd. The Saints won 11 of 12 events. Jack Betcher dropped 15 seconds overall in the night. Joe Briggs dropped 25 seconds in ONE event, the 500 free. Caden Meredith dropped 19 seconds in the 200IM and an additional 4 seconds in the 100 breast. The two a day practices are working for the team. Those are just the significant dropped times. Many swimmers dropped or stayed the same, that is showing growth.
We swim again on Monday night against a large team from Fraser. Shooting for more dropped times and some more state times. Right now we have 1 athlete headed to states we are looking for at least 4 more to join him.
