MARYSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 39
The St.Clair JV B Boy's Basketball team picked up a hard faught victory on Tuesday against rival Marysville 49 -39.
Our post players led the way scoring 42 of the teams 49 points. Evan Trudeau scored 22 which included 14 in the final quarter. Jayden Shelton added 13 and Colin Boullard chipped in with seven.
Noah Jenkins, Braeden Schalk and Alex Pelc handled the Viking pressure and Jack Shafer grabbed some key rebounds. Wyatt Thuston hit a big three early and Caleb Chase and Brayden Ruprecht added key minutes of the bench. It was a true team victory.
The Saints (12-3) return to action on Friday when they travel to Port Huron Northern.
