CROSWELL-LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Lady Saints traveled to test their skills against the Cros-Lex Pioneers on Friday afternoon and earned another victory, beating them 6-0 and bringing their record to 4-2-2.
The Pioneers' keeper had her hands full as the Saints kept peppering her with shots throughout the game. Tayler Malone earned her first hat trick of the season for the Saints, along with taking six other shots at the net. On top of all of her shots, she also had two assists. Sophomore Elia Tracy continued her hot streak as she scored two more for her team, along with an assist of her own. Our starting center back, Ariane Liniarski, even pushed up to play forward near the end of the game and put one in the net for us, scoring her first goal of the season.
Before moving up to score her goal, Liniarski and the rest of our defense did another outstanding job of shutting the opponent down, helping our team pull off another shutout.
