PORT HURON HIGH SCHOOL: 0

On Tuesday night, the Lady Saints easily handled the Port Huron Big Reds from the blow of the whistle, beating them by a score of 5-0 and improving their record to 6-3-4 on the season.

The Saints were clearly in control of the game on both ends of the field as six of their players took a total of 17 shots on goal with five of them hitting the back of the net.

Senior Tayler Malone scored the first of the Saints' goals in the twelfth minute of the game, and scored one more before the game ended. Another senior, Maria Galante, added one of her own.

Despite junior Abigail Badke only being able to play limited minutes while she recovers from a serious injury, she still managed to score two goals of her own.

While St. Clair's offense was clearly firing on all cylinders, their defense and keeper, Kara Donaldson, also did a solid job of holding the Big Reds to zero, earning another shutout for St. Clair.

The next match for St. Clair is set for Monday, May 14, at our home field against Clawson at 6:00.
