MARYSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 40
The Saints traveled to Marysville on Friday and suffered a 40-29 defeat. The Saints had difficulty scoring and were down six at halftime, 17-11. The Saints made a run in the second half but key Marysville baskets and free throws sealed the Saints' fate.
Joe Griffin led the Saints with 8 points. Jared Liniarski and Kevin Rogers each contributed 6 points apiece. Reid Packan and Ryan Zimmer each hit a 3 pointer and Austin Schweiger added 3 free throws.
The Saints travel to Grosse Pointe North for a 5:30 contest on Tuesday.
