SOS! Help or Same Old Story? For the Boys Junior Varsity basketball team it was the latter against Port Huron High School last Friday. The Saints struggled to score early and relied on its defense to comeback for a 52-50 victory. Ryan Zimmer and Austin Schweiger scored 13 and 10 points respectively to lead the Saints. Brady Gleason played a strong floor game and finished with 9 points. Jared Liniarski used his speed to play great defense and score 7 points. Lance Schweihofer played strong in the post, Joe Phillips flew all over the floor, and Reid Packan used his smarts to calm the Saints down when they needed it. Each of them scored 3 points. Luke Pietrykowski and Kevin Rogers each scored an important 2 points. Will Nesbitt, Griffin Delore, and Max Gottler each contributed important plays to the victory. The Saints play at Richmond Monday at 6pm and again on Tuesday at Lake Shore at 530pm.
