Under Pressure! Not the David Bowie song but the Boys Junior Varsity basketball team using it's pressure defense to gain a 66-59 victory last night at Lake Shore. The Saints led by 6 at halftime and stretched the lead to as much as 15 points in the second half before the final outcome. Ryan Zimmer played a great game and finished with 21 points. Lance Schweihofer played another strong game and scored 11 points. Austin Schweiger scored 10 points and had many nice assists. Jared Liniarski played a strong game on both ends of the floor and scored 9 points. Brady Gleason directed the attack and scored 7 points. Reid Packan played great defense and was strong with the ball to finish with 4 points. Joe Phillips and Max Gottler were strong inside and each chipped in 2 points. Griffin Delore, Will Nesbitt, and Kevin Rogers were solid in their supporting roles. The Saints are 9-2 overall and 7-1 in the MAC Gold and play next at home on Friday against Warren Woods Tower at 6pm.
