WARREN MOTT HIGH SCHOOL: 33
The mantra was "protect home court" and that is what the Junior Varsity Boys basketball team did on Friday night against Warren Mott. The Saints used pressure defense against the Marauders resulting a 64-33 victory. The Saints are now 12-4 on the season with one game remaining Tuesday at Davison at 5:30pm.
Ryan Zimmer led the Saints with 15 points and Jared Liniarski played a strong game with 12 points. Lance Schweihofer contributed two 3 pointers and finished with 8 points. Griffin Delore also made a 3 pointer and scored 7 points. Reid Packan also made two 3 pointers and tallied 6 points and Austin Schweiger also scored 6 points. Kevin Rogers and Joe Phillips each made a basket and a free throw to contribute 3 points and Max Gottler and Brady Gleason each chipped in 2 points. Luke Pietrykowski broke the press and played great defense on Mott's quickest player. Great job Saints!
