In the Saint Clair gym on Friday night electricity was also derived from the Saints Freshman Boys Basketball team as they created a 47-41 victory over Warren Woods Tower. With the Saints leading by five points at the end of the third quarter, Trevor Selewski provided the spark as he hit 3 three pointers to extend the Saints lead. He finished with 9 points. Matt Buslepp led the Saints scoring with 11 points. Max Schweihofer continued his strong post play to score 8 points. Jayden Simonian came off the bench to contribute 5 points including a big three pointer in the third quarter. Collin Zimmer continued his improvement with 4 points. Aiden Dragiceanu and Jacob Parsons each hit a three pointer to finish with 3 points each. Jacob Eagen and Nate Williams played hard and finished with 2 points apiece. Avery Schweihofer, Jack Pennewell, Aiden McCartney, Paul Bartholomew, and Beau Becker all had strong floor games to contribute to the victory. The Saints play at home Monday against Richmond and away at Fraser on Tuesday.
