EASTPOINTE HIGH SCHOOL: 34
The Freshman boys basketball team started the night off right for the Saints as they defeated Eastpointe in the opening game of the triple header, 37-34.
A great defensive effort in the second half, only allowing 13 points helped St.Clair rally to the victory. Drew McCartney and Joe Lindman were both in double digits while Ryan Pettinger added six. Nate Swartz hit a big pointer late in the third quarter to pull the Saints within two. Nick Reed and Peyton Ellis rounded out the scoring.
St.Clair is now off until Thursday, Feb. 17th when they will host the first round of the MAC tournament.
