Last results of the season:
At the MHSAA Regional yesterday, our Saints Golf Team placed a respectable 7th considering the competition which included a number of the top ranked teams in the state.
Four Seniors closed out their careers for the Saints. Braden Gunderson led the field with a 82, just five strokes from qualifying for the state tournament. Harry Miller came back one last time from a shoulder injury with an 83. Brenna Johnson tallied a 90, and Warren Delor put up a 93.
Junior Connor Mahn shot 88 to finish in the upper half of the field. He will lead the young Saints next year.

Only a couple left!
Our Golfing Saints had a very good day at the MAC Blue Divisional Tournament yesterday, finishing 3rd overall with a score of 345.
As we finished tied with Marine City for third in dual matches, this "tiebreaker" put the Saints ahead of our district rival Mariners in the final standings.
Having one of his best days as a Saint, Warren Delor led the team with an 82.
Freshman Nick Forster had a career best 86. Connor Mahn and Brenna Johnson shot 88 and 89 to round out the scoring for the Saints.
Today the team will host the St. Clair County Invitational at Marysville Golf Course.

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT:
The dual match season came to an end for our Varsity Saints Golfers last night as they dropped a tough one to MAC Blue Co-Champion L’Anse Creuse North, 183-166.
Braden Gunderson again led the Saints with a score of 42. Warren Delor shot 43, with Brenna Johnson and Nick Forster both tallying a 49. It was a very special 49 for Freshman Nick Forster who achieved his Varsity Letter by scoring in the match.
The Saints finish 5-5 in MAC Blue action, sharing third place with Marine City.
SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT:
The future looks bright for the St. Clair Golf Team as our Junior Varsity team topped L’Anse Creuse North 194-213.
An ALL FRESHMAN crew was paced by Jacob Parsons with a 45. Paul Bartholomew was close behind, shooting 46. Personal Season Best scores were put up by Joe Dobat and Trevor Selweski rounded out the winning team score with a 51 and 52 respectively.
Our Developmental Squad also saw three personal bests last night. Joe Morgulec dropped his best to a 51. Evan Jablinskey moved his best to a 70, and Logan Phillips found a 74 in all that green rough for his low score of the season.

Lose: 174.00 - 193.00
After dropping their match with Marine City on Monday, our golf team was able to pull their game together and top Marysville 174 to 193. Braden Gunderson was medalist with a 40. Warren Delor took second overall with a 44. And Brenna Johnson and Harry Miller both shot 45 in a three-way tie for third place honors and a seal on the win for St Clair.
The St. Clair JVs shot 193 which tied them with the Marysville varsity team. Against their actual opponent, the Viking JV team, it was a 193–239 victory. Nick Forster had a career best 43 to take medalist honors for the JVs. Paul Bartholomew shot 47, Noah Tetreau cranked out a 51, and Ryan Johnson tagged a 52 to round out the Saints scoring efforts.

In Monday night golf action, St Clair dropped a tough one to Marine City 185–1 76.
Brenna Johnson led the Saints with a 44. She was followed by Braden Gunderson and Freshman Jacob Parsons who each had 46. Warren Delor rounded out the scoring for the Saints with a 49.
The JV team didn’t fare much better against Marine City, dropping their match 207–201.
Freshman Paul Bartholomew and Ryan Johnson tied for 3rd overall with a pair of 51s. Noah Tetreau and Nick Forster were close behind with 52 and 53 respectively.
Boys Varsity Golf vs. Anchor Bay High School

Win: 181.00 - 155.00
Our Saints Golf Team improved their effort, but they still took one on the chin last night. Perennial Blue Division Champions, Anchor Bay Tars shot a near school record low of 155 to the Saints 181.
Leading the Saints with a 5th place score of 44 was Braden Gunderson. Warren Delor placed 7th with a 45, with Connor Mahn and Harry Miller tying for 6th with each shooting 46.
The JV golfers kept it closer, but still lost by a score of 204 to 193. Noah Tetreau took 2nd overall with a 46. Scoring was rounded out by Ryan Johnson (51), Nick Forster (52) and Paul Bartholomew and Joe Dobat each tallying 55.
Varsity golfers are at the Port Huron Elks Club today for the Blue Water Warm Up.
