The St. Clair Rec Department in conjunction with the St. Clair High School Wrestling Team are thrilled to announce the return of the Junior Saints Wrestling Program to the East China School District this winter. Michael Denny and Brad Johnston, both former St. Clair Wrestling standouts, will lead the program which will begin on 12/10/18 and run through 2/6/19. The program will be held at the St. Clair Middle School from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on Monday’s and Wednesday’s (there are a few blackout dates). Boys and girls in grades 4 – 8 are invited to participate. The cost is $45/wrestler – family rates are available. Although there will be an obvious focus on wrestling, much of each practice will be devoted towards enhancing strength, explosive power and agility – attributes needed for all sports. We will hold an open house with on-site registration on 12/10/18 – there will be no charge for this first session so as to allow “new wrestlers” the chance to see if this is something they really want to do.
