The St.Clair Boys Varsity Golf Team competed yesterday at the 2023 MHSAA D2 Regional Tournament yesterday.  Behind a career low 81 from Junior Liam Nesbitt the Saints finished in 8th place out of the 18 schools attending. Adding to the scoring St.Clair was Luke Hurlburt (84), Ethan Murray (86) and Case VanSingel (87). Kyle Rittner (93) also played.  The Saints finished a very competitive season in second place in the MAC Blue and are already looking forward to next year. Great job to all the players. Go Saints!

The Saints Boys Golf team wrapped up a busy week with a pair of MAC Blue Victories and an individual win at the MAC Blue Tournament. On Monday, the Saints were led my Liam Nebitt's 39 as St.Clair beat Port Huron 169 to 183. Kyle Rittner (41), Luke Hurlburt (43) and Ethan Murray (46) also scored. Cas Galvin and Logan Legree also played.  On Tuesday the boys battled mother nature and beat a previously unbeaten Anchor Bay team 168 -171. This was St.Clair's first win over Anchor Bay in several years. Luke Hurlburt chipped in on hole #9 to card a 39. Case VanSingel shot a 40 followed by Ethan Murray's 41. Kyle Rttner and Liam Nesbitt (48) also scored. Cas Galvin also played. With the win the Saints ended regular season play with a 7-3 record and second place in the MAC Blue. On Wednesday St.Clair participated in the MAC Blue Tournament. The Saints were led by freshman Ethan Murray who was medalist for the event. Murray earned a three shot vctory and carded a 75. Luke Hurlburt added an 82, Kyle Rittner a 90 and Case VanSingel a 94. That was good enough for a third place finish, two shots out of first. Liam Nesbitt and Cas Galvin also played. Next up for St.Clair is the County Tournament this Friday at Marysville Golf Course. Keep it up Saints!  

After a brief two match losing streak the St.Clair Boys Varsity Golf team played their best round of the year against Marysville and earning a 162-165 victory. Ethan Murray led the way firing a 39 followed by Kyle Rittner and Luke Hurlburt shooting 40. Case VanSingle rounded out the scoring with a 43. Liam Nesbitt (45) and Logan Legree (46) also played. The Saints have a busy week coming up with four matches including the MAC Blue Conference Tournament and the St.Clair Country All Division Tournament. Go Saints! 

The Saints Boys Golf team scored another MAC Blue victory on Thursday over Marine City 172-229. Ethan Murray and Luke Hurlburt led the way shooting 40. Liam Nesbitt (46) and Nate Schwartz, who made his varsity debut, (47) also scored. Kohl Rittner (49) and Cas Galvin (50) also played. With the win St.Clair improves to 4-1 in league play. One game behind Anchor Bay. The Saints will be busy having to play in matches Friday, Monday and Tuesday.

The young St.Clair Saints Golf Team learned the hard way that there is work to be done as they fell to the Tars 155 - 170.  Kyle Rittner led Saints with a strong 39 followed by Kohl Rittner's 42. Luke Hurlburt (44) and Case VanSingle (45) also scored.  The Saints look to rebound at home on Tuesday as they host the Big Reds of Port Huron High. 

The Saints Golf Team continued its hot streak despite the weather shooting a 171 on Tuesday to beat the Vikings of Marysville (195).  Junior Luke Hurlburt shot his best round on varsity with a 39 followed by freshman Ethan Murray's 42. Case VanSingle (43) and Kyle Rittner (47) also scored for the Saints. Freshman Kohl Rittner (48) and Junior Liam Nesbitt (49) played as well. With the win St.Clair travels to Anchor Bay on Thursday for a battle of un-beaten's and control of the MAC Blue. Tee off is set for 2:30 at Golden Hawk. 

The St.Clair Varsity Boy's Golf team started MAC Blue league play yesterday with a 172 -174 victory over L'Anse Cruese North. Junior's Kyle Rittner and Luke Hurlburt led the way shooting a pair of 42's. Sophomore Case VanSingle carded a 43 followed by Ethan Murray's 45. Also playing for the Saints were Liam Nesbitt (46) and Kohl Rittner (48).  The Saints return to action next week with three big matches. Monday vs. Marine City, Tuesday vs. Marysville and Thursday vs. league favorite Anchor Bay. 

The Saints Golf team started their season off on a good note taking third out of eleven strong teams at the Blue Water Spring Fling hosted by St.Clair Golf Club. Only Anchor Bay and Chippewa Valley scored better than the Saints 344.  Freshman Ethan Murray finished third individually with an 80. Junior Kyle Rittner placed 15th with a 85. Liam Nesbitt (89) and Case Vansingle (90) also scored for the Saints. Luke Hurlburt shot a 93.  St.Clair returns to action tomorrow, 4/20, against L'Anse Cruese North at Bellowoods Golf Course. 

The St.Clair Golf Team shot a season low 165 in a convincing victory over rival Marine City. Kyle Rittner and Case VanSingle led the way recording 40's. Ethan Murray added a 41 and Luke Hurlburt carded a 44. Freshman,  Kohl Rttner (44) and Liam Nesbitt (48) also played.  The Saints return to action on Tuesday, April 25th against Marysville.
